8/10 is the answer i think I"m right  Because 0.3+0.5=0.8 so 8/10=0.8 so that's why i think 8/10 is the answer.

a = 0.3 recursive = 3/9

b = 0.5 recursive = 5/9

a + b  = 3/9 + 5/9 = 8/9
