Of the two houses, there are 22 women in the senate and 84 women in the house of representatives. Since there are overall 535 members, when you do the calculations you see that it's somewhere around 19.3 percent of the congress. There have been tendencies to increase this number and ensure higher equality, but as of now nothing is changing.
