If the Earth is a sphere, would we be able to walk/go around the Earth in a straight line and end up in the same place?

Well first if that was even theoretically possible I am going to say no, the Earth might be spherical but it is no where near smooth and if you look at a map you see the lines are curved so no you would not end up in the same place.
