What might happen if a coral species that is well adapted to higher temperature was introduced into a coral reef habitat?

A coral species which is living in a regions of high temperature will not be able to be in symbiotic relationship  with algae at normal temperature of the sea side coral reefs and may expel it out. A long lasting exposure to change in temperature will lead to  bleaching, turning corals white and ma eventually cause death.
