Answer:

Depends tho caste system can be harsh depending if this caste system is a rigid caste system. For an example the Roman Caste system was very rigid because most roman citizens were not able to go higher in the caste system if they were rich or were an important members of the roman government. Another example can be the the Hindu caste system. If you were in the lowest caste you have specific task to be done if not done, then you won't be able to go higher in the caste system or reach nirvana
