or x=(7-y)/2....(i)

3x - 2y =-7

x=(-7+2y)/3....(ii)

like wise equating equation i and ii

21 -3y = -14 +4y

or, 35=7y

or, y=5

putting value of x in equation ii

x=(-7+2×5)/3

=(-7+10)/3

=3/3

=1

The value of x=1 and y=5.
