Explanation:

If there is a single pair of electrons that bind to nitrogen , oxygen, or fluorine, the bonding to water is plausible. Hence a hydrogen can be accepted. If there is a bound hydrogen to one of the three above-mentioned elements, then it can  be donated. The other information is the precense of lone pair of electron.
