since SV is an angle bisector of RST, RSV must be half of RST.

1/2(RST) = RSV

1/2(6x - 28) = 2x + 6

...multiply 1.2

3x - 14 = 2x + 6

...add 14

3x = 2x + 20

...subtract 2x

x = 20
