Explanation:

The most common signal to indicate that a cyclist is stopping is to extend the left arm and angle it down from the elbow. But if you do that and besides you move the arm sidely that is the signal of slowing down.

The question provides us an example of the signal of stopping because it doesn´t say anywhere that the cyclist moves the left arm.
